morning after pill
Although many people believe that the morning after pill is "killing a baby" is happens to be very convenient and useful for young women who are not ready for a baby and cannot afford birth control. The morning after pill gives women a window of 3-5 days after they have had unprotected sex to stop them from becoming pregnant. Women taking the pill are normally young teens, who are not ready for a baby. The pill does not kill the baby, because during the first week to two weeks the women is not pregnant with a fetus. A baby becomes a fetus 12 weeks after conception. I feel that a girl at the age of 16 should be allowed to take plan B without parental concent, waiting until the child is 18 is too risky. Many girls will be too afraid to ask their parents and will then take the risk of becoming pregnant. That is one other baby who is coming into the world with teenagers for parents. I think to take this drug away from girls who really need it is asking for trouble, and asking for more babies that end up in foster care.
